The Old Cottage Hotel

We’d just checked out after coming to Blackpool for my sister’s 30th, and I was really impressed with the service. My friend hurt her back, so the owner went to the shop and bought her a hot water bottle. He carried our bags and was very accommodating about our arrival and departure times. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was what you’d expect for the price. He also gave us menus and tips on where to go for food and clubs. Thank you.

Karl and Laura are what make this place special. Without them, it’d just be another B&B in Blackpool. They’re wonderful hosts, the hospitality was great, and breakfast was amazing value. We loved every minute and will definitely come again, as long as Karl and Laura still own it.

Karl was a very helpful manager, always friendly with us and the children and ready to help with questions or anything we needed. The service was excellent, and the whole hotel was clean to a good standard. There was even a tabletop fridge to keep perishables fresh. My wife, the children and I enjoyed our two nights there. Our car was parked securely until the day we left. Thanks again, Karl. We’ll definitely return and would suggest the place to anyone visiting.

We loved our stay and will come back for the darts. The hosts were excellent and so friendly, and I’d highly recommend the hotel. Breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and tidy, and the shower was great. This place is simply amazing.
