The cooked breakfast was made to order each morning, with fruit, cereals and juices available to help yourself to. Our room was quiet at night, and we didn’t hear other guests or outside noise. It had a double and a single bed with plenty of room, was tastefully decorated and very clean, and came with bathroom supplies, tea and coffee. We arrived at 14:00 on Friday and stayed until Sunday. The owners made us feel very welcome. Parking is on the roadside along a one-way street, but we found a space without any trouble. The hotel is handy for town and the Pleasure Beach, with the St Chads tram stop just across the road. We walked into town along the promenade in about 20 minutes. We had a great stay and would recommend the Strathdon to anyone after a quiet, well-presented B&B in a good Blackpool location.

We were only there for a night, but came away really impressed. The room was lovely and clean, and the staff were brilliant, always ready to help. Breakfast had plenty on offer, including the option of a fry up. We’d happily stay at The Strathdon again 😊

The short walk to the promenade was convenient, and the hotel was peaceful at night. There were thoughtful little touches throughout, and it’s clear the place is run with care. Breakfast was generous, beautifully cooked and brought with a smile. Our room felt cosy and was spotlessly clean. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel at home. They were genuinely lovely and couldn’t do enough for us. We absolutely loved staying at the Strathdon Hotel in Blackpool and would come back. Veronica and Ian are such friendly, welcoming hosts. The rooms are immaculate and really spacious, and all the food is freshly cooked and delicious. For me, this is the BEST place to stay in Blackpool. I won’t choose anywhere else now. Highly recommend.

We were lucky to get the last room with just a day's notice, and I'm so glad we chose Strathdon for our three nights. Room 10 had lovely little touches, including towels folded like swans and a fancy bathroom detail. It was spotless everywhere, and breakfast was fabulous. We also had a great chat with you both at the bar. Thank you, Veronica & Ian. We’ll definitely be back. Love from Karen & Grant Warden.
