We had a lovely week in this cosy cottage and would happily rent it again. The hosts were superb and live in the cottage opposite. There’s plenty of parking, and the sunsets from the back are beautiful. It’s only three miles from Llangefni along a straight road, so it’s easy to find. Inside, we had everything we hoped for, including underfloor heating, a wood burner, a washing machine, hairdryer, towels, bedding and cleaning supplies. 10/10.

That little hill in the backyard was a great place for morning coffee, with a full 360° view, rabbits to watch and sheep to hear waking up. It even helped us decide where to go when the weather looked uncertain. The cottage is quiet and sits right in the middle of Anglesey, making it an easy drive to Holyhead Mountain, local rugby, nearby castles and other places around the island. Inside, it’s been beautifully updated while keeping its old cottage charm. The kitchen had what we needed to cook, the place was very clean, and the underfloor heating was a nice touch. The host lives on site, is easy-going and happy to chat. We found the stay really relaxing, my blood pressure dropped by 10 points. Definitely worth coming back.

We were reluctant to leave after a few nights here at the start of 2024, even with the cold, wet and windy weather. The hosts made the cottages feel like a home away from home and were incredibly accommodating, with suggestions for things to do and places to go. They’re understandably often fully booked. Being centrally located worked really well for us. We could explore the whole island, and every area and beach we visited was a short drive away. If you’re deciding between a hotel and this cottage, I’d choose this one. You won’t be disappointed.

The spacious living areas made it easy to settle in, and the beds were really comfortable, so we slept well. The cottage was clean, beautifully decorated and carefully maintained, with a cosy but stylish feel. Its facilities were thoughtfully provided, including a fully equipped kitchen and modern conveniences that made everything easy. The countryside setting was peaceful, with gorgeous views of greenery and rolling hills. Waking up to that scenery made it easy to relax.

A really peaceful place for a getaway. The owner was friendly and very helpful, and didn’t mind that we arrived under a friend’s original booking. The cottage and its surroundings are beautifully kept, and the decor feels especially well thought out. Definitely worth a visit.
