Plain Street Cottage, The Barn B&B in Trelights gave us a peaceful, comfortable escape among Cornwall’s rolling hills and countryside. There was plenty of parking, and the views and quiet setting made it easy to relax. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. The Barn had its own outside entrance, a downstairs double bed, en-suite bathroom and wardrobe area. Upstairs, reached by its own outside door too, was a seating area with a sofa bed. It was well equipped with a fridge, microwave, kettle, Tassimo coffee machine, dining table, cutlery and plates. We spent our days exploring nearby villages and coastal paths, and added a Doc Martin Tour, which you have to do, with such a fabulous guide. Each evening we returned to our peaceful Barn. A lovely choice for a romantic getaway, family retreat, or simply a break from everyday life.

Zoe’s breakfasts and local knowledge were top notch, and she was an outstanding hostess. The setting was lovely and rural, yet perfectly placed for visiting local attractions. Our stay was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, with some great nights of sleep. I can’t say enough about the comfort and cleanliness. Highly recommended for this beautiful part of Cornwall, and we’d stay here again.

Beautiful surroundings, delicious breakfasts, and a spot close to local attractions and beaches. We had a relaxing stay at Plain street cottage barn. Zoe welcomed us warmly and was happy to provide anything else we needed. The accommodation was spotless, with thoughtful homely touches, a very comfortable bed that gave us lovely nights of sleep, and a lovely hot shower.

We had a great time during our 3-night stay in this lovely Cornish Barn, which dates back to about the 17th century. I’d recommend it 100%. The photos of the views around the B&B alone should tell you why to book.
