The woman who runs the place was lovely and very helpful, and the breakfast had lots to choose from. Our bed was comfortable, the room was nice, and there was plenty of tea and coffee. My wife especially liked the hot chocolate. There was lots of parking for guests, too. The only drawback was that the shower and toilet room was cold. We were in a room outside the main building. A nice, very quiet place.

The farmhouse is lovely and the breakfasts were excellent, but getting around without your own transport is awkward. It’s about four miles from town, and the nearest restaurant is at least a mile and a half away, with an uphill walk for almost the whole return trip. I thought another restaurant was one mile away, but the difficult walk turned out to be 2.75 miles. Be warned.

The rooms feel welcoming and homely, and breakfast was lovely. It’s a quiet, beautiful spot in the Cornish countryside, run by a lovely couple. A superb place. Come here and you won’t want to go home.

The room was a good size, and the included breakfast was excellent. Friendly service and a good location. I’d recommend it and stay again.

The host was lovely and breakfast was great. It’s peaceful, while still well placed for Rock, Port Isaac and Port Taverne.
