The staff were so kind throughout our two nights with my three nieces. The food was good and we enjoyed the pool. The lift was out of order, which made things difficult because I'm disabled, but my niece carried my rollator up and down the small staircase so I managed. A drunk guest was noisy, though that wasn't the hotel's fault. The hotel offered us a free night's stay because of the issues. When my little niece spilled lemonade over her dinner, staff cleaned it up and brought a replacement within five minutes, without charging us. Such a lovely hotel and team. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Our guests had nothing but lovely things to say about the wedding reception at the Burrendale Hotel. Connaire kept everything running smoothly on the day, and every detail was handled so well that we could relax and enjoy ourselves. During the planning, Fiona was organised, supportive, and always available to answer questions and guide us along. The service and organisation were beyond what we expected. We held a family celebration here and loved the atmosphere. The setting by the Mourne Mountains is stunning, with views that really take your breath away. If you're considering the Burrendale Hotel, I can recommend it with a clear conscience. It's well worth it.

The views of the Mournes were beautiful, and Tollymore Forest is only five minutes away, perfect for walking off that big breakfast. I had a lovely mini break with my 12 yr old son and my aunt. The food was really good, and we enjoyed the pool, steam room and sauna. We'll be back!

We found the staff very helpful, and the food was excellent. The hotel is well placed for exploring the Mournes, Tollymore Forest and the lake at Castlewellan Forest Park.
