The hosts were kind and helpful, and the Stable Cottage at Wernddofn was a very comfortable place to stay. It's in a fantastic rural setting, with incredible views, clear skies and such quiet nights. We found it a great base for exploring Cardigan Bay and Pembrokeshire. We can't wait to return next summer.

This is a comfortable cottage to come back to after a day out, and the nights are so peaceful. It has what you need for a quiet escape from the bustle, without unnecessary extras. The location is hard to beat if you're after panoramic views, ancient sites, standing stones and a landscape steeped in history, without queues, traffic or holidaymakers. You can get a good night's sleep here in a way that's hard to manage in a town or city.

There’s no internet or phone signal, but that didn’t bother me because it was a great place to stay. The farm is well placed for getting around the Gower peninsula, and K8 was a brilliant hostess. The welcome pack was lovely too.

Everything was perfect, from the superb location to the lovely quiet. Kate greeted us when we arrived, and we loved every minute of our stay. Thanks so much for having us.
