A quiet night in the Lincolnshire countryside was just what I needed before a meeting at burghley house. The owners were so welcoming, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. Such a lovely, peaceful little place. I’d definitely make the trip back.

It’s wonderfully peaceful out here, and Liz & Paul were lovely hosts. They struck a great balance between being available if we needed anything and giving us space. The house itself is absolutely stunning.

The continental breakfast was far more filling and tasty than that description suggests. We found the upstairs apartment very private and comfortable for two, with all the equipment and facilities we needed for a short visit. We’d happily return and recommend it.

We’d book here again if we’re in the area. The room was spacious and clean, the hosts were warm and friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic. It had everything we needed for a short break.

A lovely spot near Bourne, with a beautiful setting and an annexe that had all we needed for a short stay. It was spacious and comfortable too. The plentiful continental breakfast was a nice extra. A real little gem.
