We had a lovely four-night stay at Balincourt and Harps was so friendly and helpful. The room was spotless and incredibly quiet, with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was tasty and had a great choice, and there was plenty of parking. A frequent bus runs right past the guest house to Poole, Christchurch and Bournemouth. It was our first time here, and we weren't disappointed. Thanks so much, Harps.

We were there on the first bank holiday weekend in May 2026, so the lack of AC wasn't a problem. Our deluxe double was a nice size and on the first floor, with an extra chest of drawers and a table with two chairs. Getting to the beach was straightforward: walk down one street, cross to a parallel road through a walkway, then follow the zig-zag path. We'd happily stay again.

The shower was quite small, but that's the only downside I noticed. It was easy to find, breakfast was freshly cooked with a good choice, and the staff gave us a really warm welcome. I'd recommend staying here.

I've stayed here before and wouldn't choose anywhere else. The rooms are a good size, there's plenty of parking, and the hotel is spotlessly clean. Harps is friendly, and breakfast is excellent. Another lovely stay. Hope to see you again soon.

We booked a superior room and found it lovely and clean. It was so quiet at night that we slept brilliantly, and there wasn't really anything more we could have asked for. The welcome was lovely too. The beach and town are within walking distance.
