For Students Only Oxford Point in Bournemouth

I’ve lived at Oxford point for two years and have only good things to say. The staff are warm and friendly, always smiling and saying hello at reception, and there’s a great range of organised events. The communal areas are bright, clean and welcoming. The price is reasonable given you can use all those spaces, the gym and the events. For BU students, the location works really well: several university buildings are close by, Talbot campus is a short bus ride, and the beach, town centre and shops are all within easy reach for groceries.

My room was broken into after staff handed my key to a thief, and my belongings were stolen. I found the team slow, careless and dishonest, with no real understanding of how serious this was. They treated it like a minor matter, even though their actions let someone into my room. I consider this gross negligence, and the accommodation has shown itself to be irresponsible, unprofessional and untrustworthy. I strongly advise people to stay far away. Ask yourself whether you’re willing to risk your security in a building where staff can’t keep strangers out of your room. This place feels like a serious threat to residents’ safety.

The study room is comfortable, and the leisure room has plenty in it. Each floor also has a kitchen and living room with a microwave, two ovens and two induction hobs, plus two sofas and a TV. The rooms are fairly narrow but comfortable, and the hygiene was reasonably good. I had a very satisfying stay at this hotel.

Best accommodation in Bournemouth! The rooms are so nice, the staff are the best, and there are loads of events. Great value for money!
