W12 Rooms

The staff were what stood out most, friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything. W12 Rooms was great value, with a very reasonable price for what you get. It’s a short walk from the train station, so getting around London was easy. My room was cosy, clean, and well maintained, and it was comfortable to come back to after a long day. I had a very pleasant stay and would come back.

The room was basic, but completely fine for what I needed on my solo London trip. The bathroom was great, the staff were really helpful and courteous, and the Tube is right next door. I was very happy and would stay again.

The mattresses felt a little old and weren’t the most comfortable, and the lively area can bring some street noise. I travel with earplugs, though, so it didn’t affect my stay. The room was perfectly fine and very clean, and for London I thought the value was very good. I’d definitely consider returning. I stayed last November and already knew and loved the area. It’s right by Westfield shopping centre, with lots of atmosphere and everything you might need close by, including places to eat and shop.

The staff were very friendly, the bathroom was clean and spacious, and the location is fantastic, one minute from the Shep Bush Central Line Station and two minutes from Westfield Mall. There are lots of good shops, bars, and restaurants nearby. Those are the reasons this gets two stars. The sheets, towels, and pillows were clean, but the rest of the room was grimy, with fingerprints on the glass and surfaces and odd stains everywhere. The mattress was soft and lumpy, and the room smelled so strongly of acidic toilet cake that it burned my eyes. They call it a four star hotel, maybe they meant 4/10. If smudgy, noisy accommodation doesn’t bother you, or you’re fine with a bed that feels like it’s been used a thousand times, book here.
