Little Robin Gate

Little robin gate has earned a place on our yearly repeat list. It’s dog friendly, and we felt completely at ease. Our room the jacuzzi was spacious and finished to a high standard. The dog rope and toy were a lovely touch, and there were hot drinks to choose from without limit. David and Pumpkin were welcoming hosts who were happy to help with anything. The location works well for Bournemouth and nearby areas, and there’s private off-road parking on the drive. We highly recommend it as a hidden gem. Thanks so much, Dennis, Debbie and Mozart 🐾🐾

It’s only a short trip into Bournemouth, which suited us perfectly. My husband, our two dogs and I had a wonderful stay, and we’ll definitely come back. The garden was great for letting the dogs roam safely, and the treats and toys were a thoughtful extra. It was refreshing to find somewhere that genuinely welcomes two dogs, since many places only allow one. We’d been asked why we were visiting, and on arrival found a happy anniversary sign in our room. Those little gestures made the stay feel special.

We only had one night, unfortunately, but if we're in the area again, this is where we'd stay. David and Pumpkin have made a little gem of a place. The house was very clean, with lots of care given to the details, and the standard they keep made us feel completely comfortable. They gave us a warm, funny welcome too. Thanks!

We stayed in the spa room and really enjoyed the whirlpool bath, plus the big separate shower. The room has great attention to detail, and we liked the Where's Pumpkin book. The whole place was spotless, and we were warmly welcomed when we arrived. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the town centre. There’s a nice pub, the pavillion arms, just around the corner, with good food. Lovely place and hosts.
