The room was heated well and had a small fridge, which is always a great addition. It was super clean and comfortable, and Rose and another staff member were lovely and accommodating whenever I saw them. I called at 8:30pm to ask a few things, and Rose confirmed that arriving at 1am was fine. She said she’d leave a key somewhere safe and have the room ready. The location is very central, and there was space for a couple of cars out front, which we used. I booked two nights at the last minute and would definitely consider returning to Kantara if I’m in Bournemouth again. Thanks! And this is listed as a 2-star hotel? I don’t think that’s accurate.

Rose, the owner, and her husband are kind, caring, and so supportive. My family and I loved staying at the Kantara Guest house, and we’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere lovely in Bournemouth. The rooms are beautiful, clean, and tidy, with daily housekeeping. There’s a fridge with bottled water, plus everything you need for hot drinks. Breakfast is served each morning with a choice of drinks, and the coffee was my favourite.

We stayed for one night before an early flight, and the guest house was a perfect distance from the airport. It’s also close to the beach, so we spent a few hours exploring. The owner was so friendly and accommodating. Our room was a good size for three and well equipped, with water in the fridge, which we really appreciated for the early start. Thank you for being so kind!

Breakfast was sorted for us to take away since we had to leave early. They’d put pastries and other breakfast items in the dining area, which was really helpful. The bed was comfy, the pillows were nice, and the shower was perfect. Our room also had a fridge, tea and coffee, and chilled water bottles. Lovely little place, very welcoming and friendly, with excellent value for money and a great location. We’ll stay again if we’re in the area.
