The Outlook Residence

The facilities are well cared for, and the setting feels comfortable and professional. The Outlook Building is an impressive place in Bournemouth, with modern architecture and a strategic location that gives you breathtaking views. It stands out as a great option whether you’re there for work or leisure.

I lived there for a while and would definitely advise against it. It’s old, smelly and moldy. My mold allergy started coming back, so if you have that or anything similar, it’s a no-go. There are at least three clubs around it, and if you want to rest, all you’ll hear is the noise from them. I also had my kitchen equipment stolen a few times. And, as someone else has mentioned, it isn’t just student accommodation. You’ll meet people who aren’t students, and as long as you’re willing to pay, they’ll let you in. I can also confirm another comment: once you sign the papers, they enforce their own rules and basically make you pay for things that aren’t in the contract, such as extra charges if your rent is late. Norwegian Wood is underneath their Annexe complex. While people were sitting there having lunch, dirty water was spilled across the front of their BUSINESS because The Outlook was cleaning its annexe. I never heard any apology. Disgraceful. I could go on and on.

It’s a cheap place for students, though it isn’t fancy. There are already lots of students living here, so you won’t feel cut off from everyone and should be able to find a good group of friends. Probably the best option if that’s what you’re looking for.

I’m living next door to some old creep, even though this was advertised as student accommodation. The staff are unprofessional and inconsistent, the internet is really bad, and it’s noisy in general. I wouldn’t recommend it.
