The rooms are quiet, clean and functional, as you'd expect at a Premier Inn. The windows are locked shut, though, and some bathroom fittings were already coming apart despite the hotel being fairly new. Staff are friendly, efficient and helpful, but clearly busy because it's a popular place. The hotel has around 110 rooms and a bright, spacious, well-organised underground car park, a real benefit this centrally. No booking is needed for parking and there are plenty of spaces. Press the buzzer when you arrive to drive in, pay at the machine by the basement lift lobby, then go up one floor to check in. It's an easy walk to the beach by the cliff stairs or lift, and into town. The bus stop beside the hotel has good-value open-top buses to Sandbanks and, by ferry, Studland.

It's always a relaxing stay here, with a quiet area nearby and friendly staff. The premises and rooms are well maintained. A dependable Premier Inn, ideally placed near the beach and within walking distance of the city centre.

The underground car park has plenty of spaces and wide bays. The rooms were very clean and well kept, and the staff were friendly and helpful as usual. It's a welcoming hotel in a good spot, a short walk from the beach and not too far from town. Breakfast was great. We'll be back.

After a great night's sleep, I had one of the best breakfasts I've had anywhere. The place was clean and comfortable, with parking on site. It's about a 10-minute walk to the town centre in one direction and 10 minutes to the beach the other way. I'll definitely stay again.

My daughter had a bag stolen from her room during our stay on Saturday 21st February. The door wasn't damaged, so it must have been opened with a key. We were told the manager would look into it on Monday and contact us, but that never happened. There was no follow-up or investigation.
