The check-in was easy, parking was good, and the shared areas were clean and looked after. The sheets and towels were clean too, and a helpful evening staff member quickly brought extra pillows when we asked, since the room only had one flat one. The room itself was a letdown, especially with the pet cleaning fee. We wouldn't stay at this location again. There were several cleanliness and upkeep problems: a large dark red mark on the floor that looked suspiciously like blood, brown carpet stains, coffee marks on surfaces, splashes on the walls, damaged peeling units, old sticker residue on the mirror, and makeup or lipstick on the vanity light switch. In the bathroom there was hair on the wall, brown marks on the tiles behind the toilet roll holder, mould in the shower sealant, and heavy limescale and staining around the toilet rim and base. Condensation was so bad that water ran down the walls onto the floor and our belongings, and the vanity mirror was hard to use. The room was extremely hot, but the heating controls didn't seem to work. For two nights, the supplies were also inadequate: just two tiny milk pods, and the extra towels requested with the door sign weren't replenished. The street-level room had no privacy film, so people walking by could see straight in unless the curtains were completely closed. The restaurant wasn't dog-friendly, and that hadn't been made clear. Getting coffee was confusing too: there were no takeaway cups, few self-serve options, and although there was a barista machine behind the counter, we were sent to the free machine instead.

Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold food and drinks, and there was parking onsite. Our family room was clean, with one double bed and two put-up beds, and we had no problems with it. The room was a comfortable temperature and had tea and coffee making things, plus soap, shower gel and towels. A bath mat would have been useful. We'd stay again if we were in the area.

We enjoyed the breakfast and our stay during a visit to windsor. The staff were friendly, all the areas were clean, and the little Christmas tree near reception looked nice. My wife and I would come back.

The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and chairs. It was close to all the amenities. I'd definitely stay here again.
