We stayed in Famous Five and the beds were so comfortable. Dick was an amazing host and did everything he could to make us feel at ease. Breakfast was spot on, and the location was perfect. A fabulous stay, we couldn’t find a fault and will definitely be back.

We found Wildbrook Barns by chance while looking for a long weekend near Bath. We wanted to stay outside the city and travel back and forth by public transport, and were very glad we stumbled across it. Dick gave us a warm welcome, along with his eau de white spirit, and showed us around the site. The room, The Famous Five, was warm, cosy, spotless, and had two very comfortable single beds. The room fridge works, but it’s VERY small, only enough space for six 250ml cans of premixed G&T. Other premixed drinks are available too. There’s also a large commercial chilled cabinet in the shared kitchen for guests. The breakfast was phenomenal, possibly the best we’ve had in all our years of B&B stays. They’re happy to bring more if you ask, and it’s so filling you won’t need to find lunch while you’re out. We had an unforgettable three nights in a lovely setting, with wonderful staff looking after us. We WILL be back!

The grounds are lovely, well kept and secure, and our little boys, aged 6 and 3, had a great time exploring and spotting wild animals. The rooms were spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The staff were such lovely people and couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was fantastic, with really good quality produce and great coffee. There’s a pub a short walk away for food and drinks, and Bradford-on-Avon town has plenty of lovely pubs and restaurants as well. We’ll be back next year.

The hosts were helpful and friendly, and the rooms were tastefully done. We had a lovely two night stay at Widbrook barns. It was very quiet there because of the location, yet an easy 20 minute canal walk takes you into the lovely village of Bradford on Avon. Bath is only a 10 minute train ride away, which makes this a great base.

We’ve been here several times and it’s always been lovely. The Wardrobe is our favourite, with its “garden room” that feels like your own private dining space. Since it’s bed and breakfast only, we liked having a microwave for when we didn’t want to eat out. We ate inside and had a glass of wine on our own benches in the veranda area.
