Dubrovnik Hotel

The hotel’s history, shared by the staff, made our visits more interesting. We went three times during May and June for Afternoon Tea, and each time the food was delicious, especially the lovely warm scones. My sister has special dietary requirements, and the staff happily catered for them. The service was cheerful, polite and attentive without being intrusive. We’re looking forward to going again, hopefully soon!

We booked with a buyagift voucher for a stop between Liverpool and Scarborough and hadn’t expected much, but the stay exceeded our expectations. The room was clean and presentable, with plenty of space and a very large bath. We also had a delicious hotel dinner, with generous portions for all three courses. It was a relaxed, enjoyable stay, and we’ll definitely return if we’re in the area again.

Sandra looked after us during afternoon tea and was fantastic. She was so friendly, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. We had a lovely time and would happily recommend the hotel and visit again. The service was amazing.

The meal was lovely, and our room was perfect. We also appreciated the secure private parking, and there’s a nice park around the corner for a walk. My wife and I were warmly welcomed by the manager and owner, who told us some of the hotel’s history. He’d heard it was my birthday, so I was given a birthday card and my first drink was free. We’d stay again.
