The kitchen was spotless, the utensils clean, and the other rooms immaculate, with really comfortable beds. Rosie and Ken were friendly, welcoming hosts, and the cottage felt warm as soon as we walked in. After reading the earlier reviews, we wondered if it could really be that good. It was. Thanks for the welcome pack and the Christmas tree, a lovely touch. We’d definitely recommend Acorns and will be back. Thanks for a relaxing stay. Happy Christmas and Happy New Year to you both.

A quiet self catered break on a working farm, with lovely hosts. It had all the amenities we needed, including a drying room that we used. Would recommend.

It’s well equipped for a proper getaway, with local shops and amenities 20-30 minutes away if you need supplies or miss civilisation. Set in open countryside with stunning views, it’s a great place to escape suburban life. I can’t recommend it enough and will return for another well earned break next year.
