The vegetarian meals were so well thought out, and Hrishikesh Desai really worked his magic in the kitchen. We’ve just come back from a three day Christmas stay at Farlam Hall Hotel, and everything about it felt superb. The staff were incredibly helpful, and the clean, tasteful rooms still felt cosy. We had a faultless stay. You should visit this lovely place.

We’ve been to Farlam Hall twice now, and we’ll be back again. There’s plenty to do in the beautiful area on the edge of Cumbria, and the hotel itself feels like much more than just somewhere to stay. The staff’s care and attention make all the difference. From the warm greeting on the drive onward, everyone was ready to help with whatever we needed. The food and ambience were first class, and it made for a perfect weekend break.

The Foodie Experience package made for a lovely short break. I especially enjoyed the lamb, scallop and skate, along with the bread pairings, including chilli sculptured butter, calamansi and Ugandan Vanilla. The flavour combinations showed real skill. The hotel is beautiful and its setting is stunning, and we had warm, friendly service throughout. Thank you for such a delightful stay.

We really enjoyed the food, and the staff were attentive and knew their stuff. Farlam Hall is spacious, with well kept grounds to stroll around, in a lovely rural setting. It’s a hidden gem, and now that we’ve found it, we’ll be returning regularly. Highly recommend.
