Michelle arranged the buffet, so I didn’t have to sort out food for either my baby shower or my daughter’s christening do at the pub. Everyone thought it was lovely, and they catered for vegans too. The staff were kind and helpful, and letting me come in early to set up meant I could enjoy the rest of the day. I’d definitely recommend it for a small family get-together or do.

We liked the meal so much that we came back the next day. The portions were generous, the food was cooked just right, and it arrived quickly. The chef came over to ask about extra veg and how we wanted the steak, and the service was really friendly. We were away for the weekend when we tried the Wagon & Horses, and the food was beautiful, home-cooked grub. Highly recommend.

The new owners have brought a great atmosphere to the place, with professional staff and a good range of drinks. I moved to Branston hoping for a good pub within walking distance, and after four years, this place is finally great. Hope it stays that way! 🤗 Update: The food is great too. The entertainment they put on isn’t perfect, but it’s well worth the cost of getting there. x

On the way back from visiting Lincoln in the cold, this was a lovely place to stop and warm up. It has a nice, cosy atmosphere and a lovely fire.

The pool table really impressed me, and you can watch live sports too. The staff are welcoming and lovely, and it’s within walking distance of my home. I’ll definitely be back.
