Days Inn by Wyndham Bridgend Cardiff M4

The room was clean and well presented, and the cleanliness was great. The second single bed wasn’t ready when we arrived, so we had to sort it out ourselves. There was also some damage to the furnishings, and the room could use a face-lift.

I’m posting on behalf of a guest. Visiting the UK in a rental car, they stayed overnight at Welcome Break Cardiff M4, paid for parking and entered the registration at the console. They have the invoice to prove payment. The next morning they left, but later the car hire company deducted a Parking Eye fine. Welcome Break said it had no record of the registration and that it was the guest’s fault, despite the number having been entered. They offered no help, ignored emails and didn’t return calls. The guest feels they paid the hotel for a parking service they didn’t receive, then got penalised for it. Frustrating hotel and terrible support. They suspect it may be a scam aimed at foreign people in rental cars.

The staff were really lovely and helpful, and everything was so clean during my three-night stay. I’d definitely recommend it. It’s right around the motorway.

The central location was ideal for exploring the city, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. My room was spotless and modern, and service was impeccable from check-in through check-out. I’d definitely stay here again.
