The room was quiet, cosy and spotless, with a really comfortable small double bed. I was in an executive single and was pleasantly surprised by the extra space. The smart TV had Netflix, YouTube and Prime, and there was plenty of tea and coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was adequate at £5 a day. It’s about a 10-minute walk into Norwich centre, or the bus stop is opposite the hotel; on the way back, the bus stops right outside. The price was very reasonable, and I preferred the quieter spot to staying in the centre. I’ll definitely come back. Highly recommended.

We’d never stayed at a Best Western before. The bed was huge and really comfortable, and the staff at check-in were friendly. It’s also a good spot for walking into Norwich. This was our date night, which we try to arrange for those times our schedules put us within an hour of each other. We’d definitely stay again if we manage to find that golden hour.

The breakfast was delicious. I had smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast, and it was truly good. The waitress was attentive and engaging too. The Coach House room had plenty of space, though the mattress was softer than I like. It’s a great location, just a 7-10-minute walk from the city, the shops and the colourful market. One small annoyance was the £5 daily charge to park in the car park when we’d already paid for the room and breakfast. Why charge paying guests, Best Western?

The view from the room was excellent, and the beds were reasonably comfortable, though there weren’t enough soft pillows. We were pleased to find a bath, but there was only one charging port in the whole room, so just one of our phones could charge. That made the day harder for us. Check-in took longer than expected, and we had to wait before being shown to the room. We didn’t receive any service, so I can’t comment on it. Not exactly fantastic.

I stay in hotels all over the country for work, and this one was great value, with a really good location. The staff were friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome, and the food and drink were lovely. The room felt a bit old-fashioned, but it was very clean and comfortable. I’ll definitely stay again next time I’m working in Norwich.
