Premier Inn Bridgend Central

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location beside the Designer Outlet and a large Sainsburys was handy. The car park was busy, though I found a space on both nights. My main frustration was the small breakfast room and the conflicting instructions from Reception Staff. At first we were told there was no need to book, but in the morning they said we should have booked. They did fit us in. We booked for the next day and were told we could pay in the morning, then were told we should have paid the night before and might have to wait at least 15 minutes, if they could find a place. We chose to leave and get breakfast on the way instead. I understand there’s only one cook and limited space, but consistent information from Staff would have avoided the confusion and disappointment. I’d book and pay ahead. Apart from that, it was a good stay.

The staff made us feel very welcome, especially the older lady taking breakfast orders. She was a real highlight, and the dark-haired woman behind the counter was lovely and helpful too. I wish we’d asked their names. The location was superb, and we loved the hotel. We’ll stay again.

Easy parking and a spot close to the motorway and great shopping made this a convenient visit. The staff were friendly and professional, and everyone seemed willing to go the extra mile. Breakfast was served to us rather than laid out as a buffet, and it was much better than a buffet. This is the best Premier inn Bridgend we’ve visited.

Linda, James and Sarah were particularly good, and the rest of the staff were excellent too. There’s everything you need nearby. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely, with no food sitting out on a buffet. I’d highly recommend staying here.
