We only came in for a drink before dinner with friends, but we'll definitely return for a stay. George took us through to the back garden after we ordered at the bar, found us a table and brought extra cushions so we could make the most of the last sunshine. Everyone was greeted warmly at the door, and the owner was welcoming too. You can tell the family all work together to give people a good experience. We felt very looked after.

The rooms were clean, comfortable and nice, and breakfast came with plenty to choose from. The hotel is also easy to get into town from, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. When we arrived, the owner offered to carry our bags and suggested somewhere to eat. We had such a great time and are already looking forward to coming back. Thank you 😊

I booked a single room for one night for my cousin's wedding, and when I arrived the owners had upgraded me twice. The room was beautiful, and those upgrades made me feel even more welcome. They were so kind and helpful, with friendly chat that made me feel more like a friend than a customer. The husband carried my suitcase upstairs and talked me through everything. Just a lovely experience, and I'd highly recommend it.

The owner came to our rescue when our car broke down nearby 🏆. We had a lovely four-poster room, and the hotel is just steps from useful shops and everything the town has to offer.

The decor really caught my eye, with paintings, statues and vintage furniture tucked into every corner. Our double en-suite had a very comfortable four-poster bed, and the hotel itself is charming and well located. The welcome was warm, and the staff were always ready to help. Martin, the manager, was professional and looked after us throughout.
