The School House

The breakfast was excellent, and the chats with Nicky and Jim were every bit as enjoyable. The jams and marmalade were the best selection we’ve ever come across. The Old School house has loads of Victorian charm, with an eclectic mix of furnishings and decor, while our room was comfortable and well equipped. The en-suite shower was amazing, and we had lovely views over the Church grounds at the front. We could hear cows mooing from a nearby farm, too. There’s secure parking off the road at the back. It felt like a top class hotel, and we’d love to return. Many thanks, Trefor and Samantha.

I’m already planning to take legal action against James and Nicky next week so they’ll have to adopt me 😁. That’s how much I wanted to stay. We got there late in the evening and Nicky greeted us at the door, with the lovely smell of Jasmine in the air. The Green Room was one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in, really quiet, with a very comfortable bed and a powerful en-suite shower. Breakfast was lovely, with eggs fresh from the garden and homemade jam. The house itself is beautiful too, with William Morris wallpaper. Five stars from me, highly recommended 👌👍

The lovely couple made my sister and me feel very welcome at the School House B&B. We had a great time, slept well in the very comfortable beds, and the breakfast was up to standard too.

Our host was friendly and very flexible, and the village was peaceful and quiet while still being conveniently located. The old school house has been adapted tastefully into accommodation, with lovely decor and spacious rooms. Our large bed was really comfortable, and the en-suite bathroom was well equipped. I’d have happily stayed longer.
