The gardens and building are stunning, and the location is great value for money. It was lovely to find a clean, comfortable B&B where the owners clearly care about what they do. Breakfast had a great range of choices, and the lift saved my back after carrying my wife's suitcase. We’d certainly stay again when we’re in the area. Thank you, Andrew and Steve, and the breakfast hand whose name I forgot to ask.

Marton Grange is a gorgeous house, tastefully decorated, and very quiet because it sits back from the road among well-kept gardens. It’s well placed for the cliff-top path to Bridlington North beach, or for walking the other way to lovely Danes Dyke. There’s also a bus route. Our room was spotless, with a beautiful en-suite. Andrew gave us a warm welcome and offered tea and scones in the afternoon. Breakfast the next morning was delicious, with lots of options. Charming is the word I’d use for this place. I’d gladly return to the area.

The location was perfect for local attractions, and the owners gave the place a personal touch without hovering over us. Our host was very nice, and the hotel was peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was fresh and high quality, and the scones and hot drinks on arrival were a lovely touch. One of the best places we’ve stayed, and I can hardly think of any faults.

We had three rooms and none of us wanted to leave. The people running the B&B were welcoming, kind and friendly, and clearly worked incredibly hard. You could tell they cared about every guest, even for just one night. I’ve never stayed in a B&B before, but now I’d choose this over a hotel every time. The location and building were lovely, and our room and bathroom were absolutely immaculate. Everything was lovely and decorated in the style of a well-kept traditional country B&B. Breakfast was wonderful, and the welcome scones were superb too.

We stopped for two nights in August 2021 and would definitely return. The breakfasts were wonderful both days, with plenty of options, including the usual choices and some less common ones. Try the cheese bread with scrambled eggs and bacon. We also enjoyed the complimentary scones and tea or coffee in the lovely gardens. Andrew greeted us on arrival, showed us around and explained things like the door locks before taking us upstairs. We were in room 2, facing the front of the house and the road. It’s not especially busy, though some traffic can be heard. The room matched the style of the house and was spotless, as was the lovely bathroom. It only had a shower, no bath. There were just a couple of small niggles. Parking is a bit tight, though there seems to be plenty in the lay-by out front if the car park is full, and there’s a dedicated disabled space. The bath towels were on the small side; larger bath sheets would be nicer. All in all, a lovely stay and great hospitality.
