Seagulls Studio, Bridlington

The private balcony overlooking the sea was a lovely spot to relax and catch the sun. Our family had a great time in this spacious, detached, well-equipped chalet by the sea. It was finished to a high standard, with very comfortable beds and hotel-quality bedding. The log burner was a great extra for cosy evenings after a long beach walk. The holiday park is quiet, yet local amenities are an easy walk away. All of us, including the four-legged members of the family, can't wait to visit again. Highly recommend.

The view across the fields and the patio garden are two things we especially enjoy at Chalet 1. It's only a few minutes from a lovely sandy beach where dogs are welcome. We've stayed twice a year for around four years, so that probably says how much we like it. The chalet is always clean and comfortable, and whatever the weather, we have a great holiday. We'll keep coming back.

We stayed for a weekend in January, close to the beach for the dogs. The accommodation was comfortable and had plenty of heaters to keep us warm. I get annoyed seeing negative comments because, for the price, the chalets are good value. Dogs don't cost extra here either. We're going away in September somewhere that charges £40.00 per dog. Well done, Ruth, for making an affordable break possible. Keep up the good work.

Ruth was so friendly and helpful when I contacted her in a frazzled state, trying to find a holiday for my son. He's five and has cancer, so I have to be very careful when booking. Between Covid and arranging things around his clinic days, I wasn't organised, and places were either fully booked or charging extortionate prices. I'm so glad we found Albatross Lodge in Bridlington. The lodge was incredibly clean and homely, clearly made with love, and had a little welcome pack with dog treats. I stayed with my son, my mum and dad, and their dog. The site was stunning, and the lodge itself is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. My mum and I both said we could happily live there. Is squatters' rights a thing? Lol. Jokes aside, we had the best week ever, and my son was smiling again. He's still on active chemotherapy and steroids, so seeing his face on holiday meant everything to me. Fiona, who was on site, was lovely and helpful too, and made us feel as if we'd known her for ages. The worst bit was packing up and saying goodbye. There's plenty to do without even leaving Bridlington, and we had meals out and visited lots of lovely places. I honestly couldn't stay anywhere else now; it would feel like going from a five-star hotel to a one-star B&B. Thanks so much, Ruth and Fiona. We had the best time, 10/10 for everything, and we'll definitely see you again. I can't wait to visit your lovely lodge again.
