The Chimes

Donna made us feel very welcome and served a lovely breakfast. The guest house is right in the center of Bridlington, which was perfect for us. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. I'd highly recommend staying here and would gladly return.

I booked mainly because parking was available, and the welcome was extremely friendly. The room was a decent size for one person, though the TV was tiny. I couldn't adjust the heating: the room was freezing in the late afternoon and evening, then roasting by midnight. I understand it may be on a timer, but in winter it really should be adjustable. In the morning there was no shower gel, so I had to use hand soap.

Donna, the owner, was warm and welcoming, and the place was looked after beautifully and spotlessly clean. My single room was cosy, with its own bathroom just outside the room, which was reflected in the price; there are plenty of en-suite rooms as well. The breakfast was great: a freshly cooked full English, proper French press coffee, and tasty yoghurt with fresh fruit. I drink a lot of tea, so having extra tea and coffee in the lobby was much appreciated. The Wi-Fi was fast, and the shower was piping hot with strong pressure. Parking was straightforward with a free Zone A permit. I usually found a space right outside during my September stay. I'd gladly come back.

The hosts were so welcoming, and breakfast in the morning was lovely. The place was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed within walking distance in an ideal location. We'd definitely stay again. From Jack and Catherine
