Beldon House B B

We had the whole hotel for a weekend golf break with a large group, and it worked brilliantly for us. The place was ours to use as we liked, with a lounge, games room, dining area, and kitchen, all perfectly suited to a group of adults. Everything was immaculate, and the rooms were beautifully furnished and decorated. There was plenty of parking out front, and the golf courses were within a 10 minute drive. Pubs, shops, and the attractive town centre were at most a five minute walk away. The owner was extremely accommodating and easy to contact with questions. We got clear information well in advance, along with a simple access code for the weekend. A fantastic stay, made even better by the host and accommodation. We’ll definitely return.

Breakfast was simply perfection! The staff were kind and professional, and clearly knew their products well. This B&B is right in the centre of the little town and has quite a few parking spaces. Inside, it’s full of original character and feels really spacious, with lovely decor and plenty of places to sit, work, or spend an evening with friends and family. The rooms are beautiful too, each decorated differently.

We stayed as part of a large group for a wedding. The place was clean and tidy, though some of the facilities could do with modernising and a few basic day to day repairs were needed. One room, for example, had no toilet seat. That shouldn’t happen, though I might be more critical if it had been my room. Would I come back? Probably, but if the reported work in progress issues on TripAdvisor haven’t moved along, I wouldn’t return for a third visit.

I’ve stayed in three different rooms at Beldon house over the past year, and each one has been superbly clean and tidy. The communal spaces are beautifully finished, with charming decor, and there’s plenty of parking outside. I’ve also spoken directly with the owner, Pav, several times. He’s been excellent about checking we’re happy. You can tell the owners care about cleanliness and security. I’ve slept really well, the Wi-Fi is excellent, and the place feels Covid safe and relaxed. I’d highly recommend it. Every stay has been superb.
