DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol North

The restaurant was spotless and had a calm, relaxing feel. I wasn’t staying at the hotel, just dropped in, and Ana welcomed me warmly and showed me to a table. My drink arrived almost right after I ordered it. Joe brought the food soon after, hot and delicious. Both of them were polite and made me feel at home. I’d come back, and the spot near the motorway is handy too.

The room itself was lovely, and we couldn’t find a fault with it. My brother and I needed an accessible wet room because he’s disabled, but we were initially given the wrong room. We explained it to management, who were approachable and sorted it out very quickly. They also checked whether we needed help with our bags or anything else, and the staff were just as accommodating. We said we’d come back, and the five stars are well deserved.

After a long drive through one roadwork after another, Lee and Anna’s warm welcome was a real relief. We arrived later than expected, but they greeted us so kindly and got our stay off to a good start. The hotel was very clean, and our room was spacious and relaxing. A great place to stay.

Breakfast had a great range of fresh, tasty choices, and the rest of the menu offered plenty of variety too. Everything we ordered was cooked just right. At dinner, the food was delicious, nicely presented and brought out promptly in a warm atmosphere at Brunel’s Hat Restaurant at the DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol North. Ana and Joe made a real difference. They were friendly, attentive and professional, and kept us feeling welcome throughout. Thanks to them and the whole team for such an enjoyable visit. We’d happily return and recommend the restaurant to people staying at the hotel or visiting the area.
