Hillcrest Farm Bed & Breakfast

It’s hard to find the place, though apparently that’s a recurring issue. The room was OK, and the bedding was nice and clean, but cobwebs were a feature. For the price, you get an oversized porter cabin split into three en-suite rooms. It’s under the flight path, with planes overhead every hour, but the noise from adjacent rooms was more disruptive. You could hear people talking, scraping their cereal dishes and, yes, using the bathroom.

The weather wasn't the best, but the hot tub was lovely. A tip: once it reaches 38c, stop adding wood.

It’s a nice place for a night before a flight, and close to the airport with what you need. Just don’t count on the airport transport being on time. It arrived late, and they made children sit on adults’ laps so everyone could fit in the minibus.

This place ought to be closed down by Trading Standards. My wife came away with flea bites from the mattress, the cups were dirty, and there was no Wi-Fi or continental breakfast. There was no view either. The whole place was disgusting, with cobwebs, spiders and dead flies everywhere. It was extremely noisy, the milk was sour, the shower head was broken, and there was pubic hair in the shower basin. None of what this B&B claims seems to be true!!!!!
