Langley Inn

I booked the last available room, a twin for one night. It was clean, warm, and had the amenities, including shampoo, conditioner and mugs, but there were several problems: the carpet badly needed replacing, one lamp only came on for about two seconds before going out, the glasses were dirty, and the bin hadn’t been emptied. There were moths too, and the walls were thin enough that I could hear the next room talking, even if I couldn’t make out the words. The continental breakfast was fine, but I don’t usually eat breakfast, and with only instant coffee and no machine, I’d rather have skipped it and not paid. The man checking me in said they were renovating and had prioritised the restaurant over the rooms. At this price, I’d avoid staying until the renovation is finished. The staff were very nice, though, so the restaurant may be worth a visit.

Breakfast was lovely and peaceful, and the WiFi worked great. I stayed for two nights and really enjoyed it. The staff at the restaurant next door were absolutely lovely and accommodating, and the food was lush. The owner was just as kind and helpful, which made the stay even better. Thank you!

The food at The Langley Inn restaurant was delicious, freshly cooked and served in generous portions. I found parking easy, and the inn had a peaceful, inviting feel. The staff were warm, genuine and attentive from the moment I arrived, going out of their way to make sure I felt welcome. My room was spotless, spacious and well equipped, with quality linens, a good workspace and a quiet setting for sleeping. The location is convenient for either work or leisure. I was very impressed and would recommend The Langley Inn. I’ll be back on my next visit.

The rooms were spacious, clean and had everything I needed, and it was a lovely quiet place to stay. The decor is a bit tired, but at this price there isn’t much to complain about. I really enjoyed my stay.
