Our ground-floor apartment opened onto a private garden, and local shops including Coop were an easy walk away. The apartment was lovely, though there are stairs, so getting around with a buggy wasn't convenient. Parking was the downside. Street parking nearby is paid from 9am to 7pm, with a three-hour limit. It’s free at weekends.

The owners communicated well, and the place was nicely designed and well looked after. It was good value too. Parking is the one drawback. There were scooters around for getting into the city, so the lack of parking may only have bothered me.

After our last-minute appointment cancellation stress, we finally found somewhere that felt like home for a few nights. Rowan Tree apartment was spacious, spotless and had everything we needed, with two ways out to the garden. The host was great at keeping in touch and talked us through online check-in, the key locks, Wi-Fi and heating. Highly recommended! 👌

We stayed as a family and found the apartment quiet and roomy, with all the essentials provided. The dishwasher even came with tablets, and there was detergent for the washing machine. The six-person apartment has two bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower, each with its own toilet, which was very handy. Your Apartment manages the place and responded quickly, always trying to sort out any issues. A small grocery shop is three minutes away, and the bus station is a 15-minute walk. We'll have to see how the bedding holds up for comfort over time.
