Getting in and out was easy, the room was easy to find, and everything was clean. I had a peaceful stay, with a comfortable bed, a shower that worked fine and just the right room temperature. There could be a better coffee selection, but a quick shop trip would fix that. The sockets weren't by the bedside, so charging my phone and watching it from bed while relaxing was awkward. On my last visit there were sockets on both sides of the bed. Maybe that was a premium feature, since I think my room had been upgraded then, so it wasn't a big issue. A mini fridge in rooms would be helpful for longer stays. I could have kept milk fresher during my two nights. I'd pay for an upgrade if it included one.

We stayed before our flight and could easily walk from the station with our cases. We chose an upgraded room, which was clean and large, with a comfortable bed and lovely shower. The complimentary tea, coffee and toiletries were appreciated. There was an extension cable and USB sockets on the nightstand, and the Wi-Fi was fast. The location is amazing, in a quiet area with a coffee shop and local Sainsbury nearby. It's an easy walk into town and all its restaurants. We caught the Hoppa to the airport without any trouble. Would stay here again.

I’d come back here. We had a tasty risotto in the restaurant one evening, and the room was a good size with a very comfortable bed. It felt modern, and there were plenty of sockets and USB points. The bathroom ventilation puzzled me at first, but I was told it switches on overnight. The location is handy for the station. Two things bothered me: the eco-friendly approach seemed to leave the towels looking really dingy, and every plant in the foyer and restaurant looked dead or nearly so. It was such an odd first impression.

The staff are friendly and attentive, and they remember regular visitors with a welcome note and biscuits in the room. I’m in Bristol often, so the hotel’s spot works perfectly for me, with the city centre and train and bus links close by. A lovely personal touch.

The bed and shower were both good, and I’d stay again. The room itself was nice, though there were so many lights that I couldn’t tell which switch did what. The bathroom was a cubicle built into the room, and it wobbled a little when I stepped inside. It reminded me of a train toilet.
