A really relaxing stay in an excellent location, with large rooms. There were lots of new staff, so things weren't as efficient as they usually would be, but everyone was very pleasant.

Quiet, with great walks, nice food, and a lovely garden. Lovely, lovely, lovely.

The countryside setting was beautiful, with lots of walks and places of interest nearby. We had a beautiful week in the large, wonderful rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the meals were excellent, including the dining room dinners and packed lunches. There was more than enough to refuel after our walks.

A lovely spot for a week of walking. We had a great time.

It's a huge, somewhat dated mansion with plenty of accommodation, and it worked well for a walking holiday. The remote setting is ideal if you want to get away from the rat race. You'll need transport, though. The views and wildlife are amazing.
