The towels and bedding were nice and clean, and the room itself had nice decor. The internet was a decent speed and the TV was fine. But the curtain rail was held together with brown parcel tape, there was hardly any body wash, and the male owner greeting me barefoot in March felt a bit weird. From outside, the place looked decent enough. You have to pay cash for breakfast because they don't trust card machines, and you need to choose it by 6pm the day before or you don't get any. I can't comment on the food since they only do breakfast and I didn't have it, as I only had cards with me. No evening meals either. Would I stay again? No.

The breakfast was tasty, and our room was spacious, warm and clean. The location was excellent, too. My husband and I had a wonderful stay, thanks to the lovely couple who run the place and made us feel genuinely welcome and looked after. Thank you, we'll be back.

John and his wife were brilliant hosts, so welcoming and accommodating. The guest house was great value, with a good-sized room and a perfect spot just a short downhill stroll to the front. Thanks for a lovely stay.

After a long drive, the quick, friendly check-in was just what we needed. We had a short stay on 7th Sept and found everyone very friendly. The room was well prepared, and they had everything we needed, including tea and coffee, an iron and ironing board, and a hairdryer. The guesthouse presents very well. The full English breakfast the next morning was really tasty. Many thanks, we'll be back.

We stayed one night at The Guesthouse recently and even got upgraded to another room. It was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable, with a great breakfast. The couple running it were very nice. I'd definitely recommend it for a stay in Broadstairs. Thank you.
