The grounds were stunning, and even with unsettled weather we managed to walk around them each day. My husband also got on the driving range when the weather was worse. We began with delicious afternoon tea, then enjoyed two nights with the same waitress, who soon got to know us and made things feel even more personal. Staff remembered our drink preferences and where we liked to sit, and they catered for my allergies brilliantly. We married at Carden last year and returned for our first anniversary as part of the package. One night felt too short, so we added two more. Everyone was so welcoming and made the stay feel special. I'm already figuring out when to come back.

The spa was incredible, and my massage was one of the best I've had. Food and drinks were excellent too. We picked Carden Park for a special anniversary and birthday, and the whole stay felt relaxing and memorable. The hotel is beautiful, with lovely staff in the bar, restaurant, spa and reception. Nothing felt like too much trouble. We couldn't have picked a better place and would happily return.

We'd been here five years ago and could see some improvements since then. This time all four of us had a lovely three-night stay. My friend and I played two rounds on the amazing Cheshire course, while the ladies spent their time relaxing at the spa. Our rooms were great, in the buildings behind the main hotel, and the staff were super friendly from check-in through breakfast. We'd all recommend Carden Park and hope we don't wait so long before coming back.

The rooms are spacious and have a luxurious feel, with lovely Molton Brown toiletries in the bathroom. I was here for a conference, and the place worked well for bringing 300 people together. Breakfast was decent and the staff attentive. Drinks are pricey, though, and there's an automatic 12.5% service charge.

The spa made this short break feel like a proper escape. We had a courtyard room with a balcony, which was a nice touch, and the hotel was just the right distance for getting away. There were plenty of saunas, relaxing rooms, outdoor hot tubs and a heated indoor pool. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully laid out. The Back and Leg Ritual from the Autumn Glow package was pure bliss. Dinner was delicious, and the staff were friendly, professional and worked well together. We left completely relaxed and can't wait to return.
