Stornoway Bed And Breakfast

The host clearly cares about guests, with thoughtful touches like flowers, tea and coffee, cookies, and an excellent breakfast. Our room was beautifully arranged, comfortable to spend time in, and smelled fresh with a subtle perfume. The beds were comfortable, and the whole place was cute, lovely, and very clean. Best place we've ever stayed in Scotland.

Carl provided excellent service and a warm welcome, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The Stables Self Catering was a wonderful surprise, bright, warm, welcoming, and extremely clean. It had everything you could possibly need for self-catering. Carl is certainly an asset to the business.

Carl and Birgitta were the friendliest hosts and clearly care about good service. My top-floor room had a comfortable bed, a kettle and coffee machine, plus a bottle of the lovely chilled tap water. The bathroom was separate downstairs, with a nice hot shower, and there was a guest fridge on a lower floor for takeaway leftovers. Since it's an historic building, the room in the roof was chilly, but the hosts had thought of that and a portable heater warmed it nicely. Breakfasts were fresh and imaginative, with lots of choice, vegetarian options, and extras like homemade cake. It's a comfortable stay in a great spot, a short stroll from the ferry terminal. I found on-street parking outside without trouble and would stay again.

Briggite was very welcoming, and the room was great, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. On-street parking was fine, and the location was central.
