Rhos Y Foel Cottage

I was travelling on my own and felt very safe here, so I’d especially recommend it to women travelling solo. The owners were welcoming, and the new showers and toilets were kept spotless. It’s also easy to find, in a quiet, lovely location.

Marta made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, with a warm welcome and a genuine smile. The campsite is peaceful and well looked after, in a beautiful setting, but Marta’s hospitality is what really made the stay for us. We’ll be back again. If you want a relaxing break and to be made to feel like family, I can’t recommend Rhos Y Foel Campsite enough. Thanks, Marta, for making it such a memorable visit.

Those hot, powerful showers were a real treat, since they’re hard to find at most sites. The facilities are good, and Marta checked us in, was friendly and informative, and made sure my partner and I had a good stay. The lawns and bedding were immaculate, and the location is ideal for exploring the Llyn, with lovely beaches just a short drive away. It’s a stunning little place. You won’t be disappointed.

We were there in June and found it lovely and peaceful, partly because it’s quite remote. Just make sure you bring all your supplies with you before arriving. The showers were really clean, and Marta was a lovely host.
