Grant Arms Hotel

The room was cosy, homely and comfortable, and stayed spotless throughout my week here for work. The landlord and landlady are genuinely kind and welcoming, and nothing felt like too much trouble. You can tell the owners have been in the business for many years. I'd absolutely stay again, and can't rate the place highly enough. Thanks for such a lovely stay, guys. Jay 🙂

I had such a good couple of days in Cullen with my dog. This place is dog friendly, and I was made to feel so welcome. The room was lovely and comfortable, with the comfiest mattress I've ever slept on. If you'd like to meet the local community, stay here and try the food at Lily’s cafe’ down the road. I'm so grateful for the experience and will definitely be back. I honestly have tears in my eyes thinking about how good a time I had, I just want to return.

The room itself was fine, but this place needs help. I got locked inside my room and, with nobody around to deal with an emergency, I had to call the Cullen police and enlist help from local businesses and another guest just to get out. The staff were no help at all, and their communication afterwards was disrespectful. They blamed me for everything. They said they'd refund me, but now they're too cheap to do it.

We booked the king-sized room for two nights and had a great time. It's a room in an old building with a pub resident on the ground floor, and the bathroom is shared, so don't expect a hotel setup or food. There are no hotel costs either, which matters when you're watching your spending. A microwave and kettle are provided in the room. We had a large double settee and loads of space, enough to swing an elephant. I loved it and would go again if I'm in the area.
