I’m still here with the window open, trying to sleep in a room that reeks of animals. After I complained that room 22 was beside the busiest door in the building, reception moved me to what must be the smelliest room there. The person at reception gave me the first room with a smile, as if they knew nobody could sleep properly there. Really bad customer service, delivered with a smile.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating, and I’d stay here again. It’s central for both Bicester and Buckingham Village, with bus stops nearby. The rooms are spacious, though a table or two would be useful for luggage or hanging out. A great option for a few days.

No public rooms, and breakfast was the only drawback, with plenty of options nearby instead. Otherwise, this is the best Travelodge we’ve stayed in. The room was clean and airy, with a large, comfortable bed, big soft towels, and plenty of tea and coffee. Manager Elaine gave us a warm welcome, and parking was easy.

I’ve stayed here several times, and it’s the best Travelodge I’ve been to. The staff are friendly, know their stuff, and go above and beyond. Parking is great, with McDonalds across the main road. Shops are a little further away, or you can use the Shell garage shop if you’ve got money to waste.

We only needed a place for one night while passing through, and the room did the job. Easy to find, and the chap on reception was nice. There’s a Starbucks next door if that’s your thing, plus a Tesco nearby for picnic supplies.
