The ground staff gave amazing one-to-one care. I do feel the home could do more to involve residents with dementia and help them feel included. Residents need more opportunity to make choices and understand what’s happening with food and mealtimes. The Manager should take a more person-centred approach with residents and families, and be more present in their own communication.

My mum’s been at the Moorland for a few weeks and she’s loving it. She settled in so quickly, has made friends, and the staff are kind and caring, always happy to help. I visit with my dog.
