There was a great range of food to choose from, including the specials, and everything we had was tasty and filling. We went as a group of four, found the staff friendly and the service superb, and there was a good drinks selection too. Fantastic pub. I’ll return next time I’m in the area.

We’ve been to Drake Manor Inn many times over the years, and it’s always a pleasant place to visit. This time we only stopped for a quick bite: tomato soup for the adults and loaded fries for our daughter. The soup was spicy, smoky, and full of flavour, and even the bread made me rave about it. It was only soup and bread, so I’ll stop there, but if the rest of the menu is this good, we’ll be eating here again soon.

A lovely place to stay, in a fantastic location, and a brilliant family pub. I’d recommend it to anyone who misses a friendly village pub.

Our party of four was warmly welcomed to this lovely village pub, and we all enjoyed our meals. I had the fish and prawn curry, then vanilla cheesecake, both delicious. A fabulous place to visit.

Not the best meal today. The beef was warm and very fatty, and the roast potatoes were hard. It was clearly all plated up for a quick service.
