Carlton Manor

We were four hours into our journey when we phoned to ask whether to bring towels, and were told our accommodation had been cancelled and we should find somewhere else. We were understandably horrified. I'd booked in June for August 17th through Air b&b, and the lodge owner had received our money; we'd even been sent a reminder confirmation just days before travelling. Kerry said this happened a lot with air b&b and told us to contact them, as though it was our problem. We did, and they found a hotel more than an hour from our family, with extra costs for us to pay. Both parties made this a terrible experience, so we turned round and headed home. Thanks!
