West Point B&B

The homemade jams on the breakfast table were a delight, and there was a good choice of cooked breakfast items too. Terry and Ali, the owners, were very friendly and helpful when we arrived, and showed us to our double en suite room. It had a twin settee and a chair, plus a patio door opening onto the garden and seating area. The view from the bottom garden was amazing, with the sea visible.

We chose West Point while walking the South West Coast Path, covering the stretches between Hartland Quay and Crackington Haven. The A39 location was ideal, with buses passing right by, and Terry kindly offered to drive us to Hartland or Bude so we could walk back towards Morwenstow. It worked out perfectly. We stayed in the suite, which was spotlessly clean and lovely. The bed was large and comfortable, and the sitting area had a cupboard with plates and cutlery. Guests can use a fridge and microwave. The shower room was warm and the shower good. Breakfast was amazing, enough that even after walking ten miles up and down steep slopes we only really needed an apple and ice cream for lunch. Terry and Alli are lovely hosts who go out of their way to make it a great break. Thank you Terry and Alli, I highly recommend this place. 🙂

The beds were so comfortable and we slept really well. The breakfast was amazing, and the accommodation is lovely and peaceful with beautiful views. Our hosts welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home straight away. We’ll definitely return in the future.

The breakfasts with homemade jam were to die for, and the views from the location are marvellous 🤩. Our hosts were attentive, talkative, caring and kind. This unassuming couple run a scrumptious B&B, which made a great base for many of our favourite ❤️ locations. Definitely 👍 worth checking in.
