The rooms are comfortable and full of interest, and breakfast was delightful. David and Mark were wonderful hosts. Hurstwood Hall is a real gem, a wonderful old house, and we're so lucky to have stayed there. It was a lovely way to get away from the stresses of modern life.

David and Mark were such welcoming, friendly hosts, and nothing was too much trouble. Hurstwood Hall has loads of character and sits away from the busy roads, so it's peaceful and tranquil while still being easy to reach. We slept brilliantly in a very comfortable bed and had a superb breakfast. The surrounding scenery is lovely too, as we found on a morning walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will come back when we're in the area.

The quiet garden and comfortable en suite room are lovely, and the historic building makes Hurstwood Hall well worth booking if you're heading to Burnley. The drive through the rolling hills lets the cares fall away. Mark and David were excellent hosts. They suggested walks across the moor and places to eat, and even shared football commiserations. Breakfast was a delight. It's an experience not to miss.

Nothing has changed since my last review. The wonderful standards haven't slipped at all, and I can only give five stars even though Hurstwood Hall and its superb hosts deserve more. It's an absolute haven and a treat. David and Mark put thought, kindness and attention into every detail, and I could live there if I could. I've stayed on my own, with my daughter, with my sister and with a partner who's now an ex. I'll keep coming back. Thank you, David and Mark, for being such lovely people. The best. Dianne x
