The view from the room was fantastic, with a sofa facing the loch through full height windows. It was a very good sized room, with a lovely comfortable bed, and breakfast was a generous continental spread. The house and its location are stunning, and Teresa was a fantastic host, chatty and knowledgeable. I'd go back in a heartbeat!
Teresa gave us a warm welcome and even booked us a dinner table at the Sands Hotel straight away. Our modern accommodation had lovely surroundings, looking over the eastern edge of Scapa Flow towards South Ronaldsay, and our room was spacious, with an extra walk in closet. There was a wide breakfast selection, all freshly prepared, including eggs from the free range chickens in the garden. Don't miss Teresa's delicious fruit salad. We had booked the first ferry on departure day, and Teresa kindly prepared breakfast early for us. We also loved sharing the breakfast table with the other guests, chatting and swapping useful advice. VitaVer is highly recommended.
The breakfasts were really good, and I especially loved having fresh fruit salad each day. The accommodation was wonderful and comfortable, with excellent views. The hosts knew lots about the area, and we enjoyed chatting with them.
Teresa and Malcolm were very friendly owners, and we loved the place. The rooms were beautiful, and breakfast was lovely, with homemade bread and jam.
The views kept changing throughout the day, and the accommodation was beautiful and spacious. So many interesting historic sites are only minutes away, and Teresa and Malcolm always welcomed us back. Breakfast in the morning was fit for royalty.
