Crown Place

We had a lovely layout in our room, and inside the place is furnished with care to a high standard. The cooked breakfast was fantastic, too. It’s in a very good spot for walking into the town centre. We’re light sleepers, though, and had some trouble with road noise and a gate banging during the night.

Rachael was excellent, and the staff behind the scenes helped make our night relaxed. My mum and I had an amazing time, and the rooms were perfectly clean. The continental breakfast was spot on, with plenty to choose from. It’s close to the centre and just 2mins from the theatre royal. We’re already planning to come back. Thank you, crown place and Bury St'Edmunds, for a fantastic stay. Rachael, best host ever. Thanks for everything, see you again.x

A really comfortable B&B, with a different feel from the usual chain places. The host was welcoming, the room was warm, and I slept well. Breakfast included fresh fruit and croissants. Parking is nearby at Rams Meadow or the MSC near cinema. Good location.

Lovely room and host, but I was kept awake by the single glazing. Noise reduction curtains or double glazing could solve it easily, though it’s a listed property, so the single glazing has to stay.
