I can't speak to the rooms, but the food was adequate for a quick dinner out. Nothing special, though it did the job. The service was immaculate, and the staff were kind and happy to chat. We felt a bit out of place when we came in around the back, but everyone we met was helpful. It's good for young kids, with highchairs available. The beer garden looked comfortable and parking was excellent, with lots of spaces.

We've been coming here for coffee and toast, and the occasional lunch, for a while now. The Tuesday and Thursday 2 for 1 offer is great. We bring our B/C Millie, too, and they make all of us feel welcome, especially Millie 😂. Definitely recommend it 🤗

The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is freshly cooked pub fare, including huge filled potatoes and homemade steak pie with creamy mash. It's very good value when the midweek offers are on. Get there early, as some dishes run out. We'll be back!

We booked late, looking for a dog-friendly pub in the Bury area for a roast, and heading to The Pykkerell was a great call. It's in a nice spot on the high street in Ixworth, with plenty of on-street parking. We shared garlic mushrooms and curried carrot soup to start, then had two roasts, one beef and one pork. The portions were generous, and cauliflower cheese was included. The food was great. Highly recommend, and we'd happily return.

The old-style pub atmosphere was lovely, and the food lived up to what I'd read in a newspaper feature on the best places for a Sunday roast. It was delicious and well portioned. Our one personal preference would be crispier roast potatoes. We'll go again.
